i have lived in valais my entire life. a small town in a big valley in switzerland, which always contains snow. i passed the entrance examination for university in mai 2006 and will beginn to study graphic design and photography in lausanne in autumn 2006.
some things, which i love and i need as inspiration for my pictures: snowboard, skateboard, a cup of hot milk with a lot of chocolate and sugar on a rainy day and in the morning, trains, the movie "the neverending story", magic - the gathering, books and above all - music.
some of my favourite bands: death cab for cutie, bad religion, fugazi, osker, the libertines, the postal service, jaga jazzist, god is an astronaut, arctic monkeys, day of the dead, pointing fingers, the get up kids, underoath, the early november, blood brothers, the bravery, snitch and the streets.
photography
photography is more than only taking some picture. photography is more than owning or using a hot expensive cam.
with photography, we can "store" our memories. In all pictures, there are beautiful and sad memories of a lifetime.
with photography, we can play with colors, change our perception of life with brighter and darker colors, which we can
transfer on to the pictures. and last but not least, in all pictures, there are some sounds which we can imagine hearing.
works and toughts
with my drawings, my pictures and all my other works, i try to express my feelings, my childhood, my past, sadness / happyness and my hopes.
i take these pictures to hang on to a moment or a feeling i have (inside)...
